Ambassador Raynor Tours Benin

During this five-day tour, Ambassador Raynor presided over the inauguration ceremony of a juice processing unit in Parakou that was partially financed by the Ambassador’s Self Help Fund. Also in Parakou, he honored teachers as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Teachers Motivation Training project and visited the University of Parakou’s new language institute. He met with mayors and local leaders in several communities, and he had the opportunity to speak with a number of Peace Corps volunteers about their work.
