Passports

Passport replacement

A consul can issue a new passport or a replacement for a lost or stolen passport. If you believe your passport has been stolen, first report the theft to the local police and get a police declaration. Replacement passports cost $67 if the applicant still has the old passport, $97 without the old passport, and $82 for minors under the age of 16.  
In order to obtain a replacement passport the following is needed:

proof of U.S. citizenship (i.e. a previous passport, birth certificate, naturalization papers, etc.) 

two 2" x 2" (5 cm x 5 cm) photos, in color on a plain white or light blue background  

application form completely filled out  

application fee (Note: Hours for the Consular Cashier are Mon - Wed 8:30 - 12:00 and Friday 8:30 - 10:00.)

Passport applications are received in the consular section Mon - Wed 8:30 - 12:00, 13:30 - 16:30 and Friday 8:00 - 11:00
